At first I refused to listen to this album again. Then I pulled it off the shelf back in and played it again and really liked it, but mostly because I was looking for something new and Moody to listen to and remembered this one. I really have come to like almost every song on here except I'm Sorry .

I wrote about it in the Moody Blues Album thread - while his vocals on Octave sound flat and lifeless to me, here he seems to have regained some of the rough edge (due to the good old double-tracking of course). 'Night Flight' doesn't honour the voice of Justin Hayward, so strange and flat, while the music doesn't convince either. This is, to be honest, a problem for all the songs on this cd that are a bit louder or faster/5(62).

Every Justin Hayward cd has its classic moments. They are all good. "Night Flight" is my least favorite. But, it has three of my favorite Hayward songs on it. "Moving Mountains" is about the same. "The View From The Hill" about the same, and his latest from "Spirits of the Western Sky" is excellent, as well/5().
